The Bible is full of verses that can provide courage in times of fear. One of my favorite verses is found in Joshua 1:9. It says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

This verse reminds us that we don’t have to be afraid or discouraged because God is always with us. He will never leave us or forsake us, and He is always ready and willing to help us through whatever challenges we may face.

Another great verse that provides courage in times of fear is found in Psalm 23:4. It says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
This verse reminds us that even in the darkest and most difficult times, God is with us and He will comfort us. We can trust in His love and His faithfulness, knowing that He will never abandon us.

Finally, in 2 Timothy 1:7, we read, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” This verse reminds us that fear does not come from God. Instead, He has given us the power, the love, and the sound mind to overcome fear and face our challenges with confidence.

So, the Bible can provide courage in times of fear by reminding us of God’s love, faithfulness, and power. When we trust in Him and His promises, we can face our fears with confidence and strength.
