Peter, originally named Simon, was one of Jesus Christ’s most dedicated disciples in the New Testament. He was a fisherman by trade and lived in Galilee with his brother Andrew.
It wasn’t until he met Jesus that Peter’s life changed forever. One day while fishing on the Sea Of Galilee; they encountered this stranger who told them to cast their nets on other side boat leading towards great abundance catch! This man had such authority within His words that even though initially skeptical finally recognized Who it truly was – Son Of God Himself!
From then on, Peter became one of Jesus’ closest followers and went everywhere with Him – witnessing countless miracles along way including feeding 5,000+ people from just five loaves & two fishes! Despite being impulsive at times & making mistakes too (such as denying knowing Lord three times before crucifixion); yet still remained steadfastly loyal unto end thereby becoming rock upon which Church would be built after resurrection occurred thereafter.
Afterwards; Peter became leader among early Christians traveling far wide throughout Mediterranean region preaching Gospel wherever he went leading eventually towards martyrdom himself reminding us all about importance staying true unto Word Of Lord regardless whatever obstacles may arise along journey called life here below!
